TENS Units for obstetric use and general pain relief
TENS, which stands for Trancutaneous Electronic Nerve Stimulation, is a method of applying electrical impulses via self adhesive electrodes through the skin to underlying peripheral nerves.

A digital, dual channel unit which combines several treatment programmes and three customisable programmes. Useful for increasing and maintaining muscle strength and improve range of movements. It has also a specific programme for those suffering from pelvic pain.
MME EMG Biofeedback
A single channel biofeedback unit which senses electrical activity within the muscles and helps in pelvic floor management. The unit can be used with both external, self adhesive electrodes and internal vaginal or anal electrodes. It offers both auditory and visual biofeedback. A recharger with rechargeable battery is supplied with the unit.

CPMs are generally used directly post-surgery and time and duration of usage may vary according to injury and/or type of surgery.
Advantage Health Care offers a state-of-the-art program with cost effective and highly efficient solutions to CPM needs. This may include a capped fee for the whole of hospital's use of CPMs and maintenance. It could also be a fixed term contract for a defined number of CPM rentals on a monthly basis or simply an 'ad hoc' rental on a needs basis. We can customize a program to suit your needs.
